The Institute for Advanced Venous Care was established to treat patients who have problems with Varicose Veins and Venous Insufficiency.
Venous Insufficiency develops when the valves in your veins malfunction permitting too much blood to remain in your legs, resulting in poor circulation. As a result, you may experience varicose veins, spider veins, pain, edema, burning, itching and even ulceration. If left untreated, symptoms progress.
A diagnostic ultrasound, performed by our vascular technicians, will evaluate for vascular insufficiency.
Our clinical staff will help create a treatment plan that's right for you.
Our cardiologists, trained in venous intervention, perform minimally invasive procedures including:
• Radiofrequency Ablation
• Mechanical Occlusion Ablation
• Phlebectomy
• Sclerotherapy
Procedures are covered by most insurance plans.
